Description

You're looking for a mechanic, are you? Look no further!

I've been toiling on a new necropolis for ages. When Nurakkir collapsed, we saw a golden opportunity! We came to salvage parts from the wreckage, but these brutes locked me up when I criticized their methods.

But now you need help, right? I'm your construct!

You get me out of here, and you've got yourself a new mechanic!

As with everything buggy about this abysmally not ready for release expansion, this quest is bugged for many players. You can complete the objective of killing Toc the Incessant and freeing Ansid and he will run off and stand with the other quest givers awaiting turn in but the quest being reset with
"-0/1 Toc's Key"
Being in your log and no way to complete the quest.
This is most likely the result of an overlapping World Quest.
You will of course need to kill Toc the Incessant once again to obtain his key.
Good luck.

That is every comment on this page.

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • No Friend Left BehindMaldraxxus · Level 60

I would care for nothing more than to serve as navigator again, but my dearest friend suffers. I cannot stand to abandon him. I can feel Twigin now. He struggles against the binding web of the spiders who once served us. More victims of this senseless conflict...

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Call In a FavorMaldraxxus · Level 60

We will do just as my baroness commands. Let us conjure a helmsman before us... however displeased it might make her. Activate the beacon and prepare yourself for a fight. The liches regard all Eyes as their enemies, and I am certain your reputation among them does you no favors.
