TheWoWDBI was confused at first of what I was supposed to do until I read this. The data given makes it sound like you get a cake to the Temple of the Moon but that's not it. You go to the temple of the moon and between where you enter and the portals (one to exodar) there is a bird-bath table that is surrounded in glowing blue. On the table is a bunch of little yellow globules. Pick on up with a right click and then turn it in elsewhere... near the gravyard and entrance to the wild.

Once you receive the rice cakes from the Temple of the Moon, they need to be taken to the ancestors, meaning, a shrine near the entrance gate to Darnassus, for turn in. (69,40)
Don't know if this just me, but this quest has not popped up for me over the course of a few weeks. Is it rare?

The living are not the only ones who require sustenance. One of my duties is to prepare the rice cakes that are left for the ancestors. Normally, my senior apprentice has the honor of taking the cakes to the Temple of the Moon for blessing and then presenting them to the ancestors. Since she is out of the city today, would you mind performing the duty in her place?
