Woah guys calm down! Deep breaths ok? This may sound intimidating for pvers but in all honestly it’s a very simple quest and you can win both battlegrounds without having a clue how to do them. You don’t need to organize a group, spend weeks gearing up or even use vent.
My advice to the pvers? Just get it over nice and fast like ripping off a band aid. Its only two wins, most qs pop within the first three minutes and most games last 15-20 min. No one can kick you for having a bad pvp gear score and the truth is there will probably be other players in the same boat as you since fresh 90s will be trying to earn honor in there as well. Also (and I cannot stress this enough) THIS IS NOT A RATED BALLTEGROUND. IT’S A PUG. You do not need to get a group together or use voice chat to finish this quest. Just press H, pick your bg and wait two min.
You don’t have to be good at it; you just have to be there. If you come in during the last three seconds of a winning game and do absolutely nothing you will still get credit for your quest.

If you don’t have any pvp gear whatsoever then this is what I recommend you do:

Temple of Kotmogu : In this game there are four different colored orbs in each corner of the main field. Holding these orbs grants your team points and the closer the orb holders are to the middle of the map, the more points your team will earn. Players with the orbs will both deal and take more damage. As a pver with no pvp gear, your only job is to jump down into the middle and try and kill the players of the opposing faction with a big glowing horde/alliance symbol above their heads. (They have the orbs) Healers: just heal stuff. orb holders will die sooner or later but you need to keep them up as long as you can. Let players with gear pick up the orbs for your team.

Silvershard Mines: There will be three mine carts moving towards dead ends on your map. The shortest path is lava. (The road ends in a red blob on your map) the middle one is sometimes called water, (Medium length) and the lase one on the far right is called bridge. Most player’s usually want to control the lava and water roads because they cap in the shortest amount time. You control a mine cart by standing near it until it glows red or blue depending on your faction color. If your team controls the mine cart when it reaches the end of the line, you cap it and gain victory points. (I think it’s 1600 points to win the game?)
As a pver you should just seek safety in numbers. Try and find out what mine carts your team is going to attack first. (These are pug groups though so they may be clueless. Fair warning.) Just help your group take over a cart and put down ccs and slows to keep the enemy team as far away from the mine cart as possible. The key to this game is standing inside the circle around the mine cart. Just stay close and cc and you should be fine.

If you hate pvp or are just intimidated by it, pace yourself. Only do one or two bgs a day if you have to, until you win. Most of my friends got it in 2-4 games. Be sure to check with your guild and friends to see if any pvpers would be willing to join you for a quick game if you want some extra help. Yes you don’t have the gear and yes you will probably die a lot but there are always players being carried in bgs and we still manage to win. PvP is mostly about choosing glyphs and talents that provide survivability instead of damage. CCs are also a big part of pvp so you can glyph and change talents accordingly if you want to. good luck and I hope you get your quest done soon! =)
