The Song of the Yaungol

Starts from a quest item mailed to the player upon completion of the achievement The Song of the Yaungol.

When you turn in the quest, Lorewalker Cho tells you a story complete with a play-like reenactment and casts Storytime on the player.

"Fire! It is the most magical of elements. It warms us, it cooks our food. It is the hearthfire that makes a house a home. In the right hands, fire can shape iron into swords or plowshares. Left uncontrolled, fire could destroy a city.

Fire is the instrument of change.

Long ago, a group of sturdy nomad hunters wandered the world. By a stroke of fate, they were here in Pandaria when the Sundering split apart the continents of Azeroth. The wanderers found themselves trapped in the Townlong Steppes, a harsh and dangerous land.

Those noble hunters found a way to survive on their own. Fire was the key. They drew up oil from the ground. They used it to heat their homes, cook their food, and burn their enemies. They grew STRONG.

From the flames of fate, the yaungol were born. They survive beyond the wall, for they refuse to submit to any law but their own.

Has fate been cruel to the yaungol? You may as well ask if fire is good or bad. Fate is like fire; it can shape or destroy us. All that matters is what you do with it."

You can have Lorewalker Cho tell the story again by talking to him or clicking on the book that is added to your bookcase in the Seat of Knowledge.

When you turn in the quests at the end,

if you have multiple ones to turn in at the same time you would have to wait for Cho to finish his stories.

To Bypass this, simply walk out of the room, mount up and fly into Mogu'Shan Palace, which is right below Cho's room.

Zone in, zone out, and Cho will have finished his story, repeat until all your quests are turned in !

You receive this quest in the mail from Lorewalker Cho after completing The Song of the Yaungol. He is located in the Mogu'shan Palace in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms.

When you complete this quest, you will get the debuff [spell=120589] and hear the tale of the Yaungol. If you miss some of it the first time, all you have to do is talk to Lorewalker Cho again and he will re-tell you it.
