The Twilight Destroyer is a raid quest for level 30 in The Ruby Sanctum. It rewards 6,200 experience and money.

Description

This was no reckless attack, but rather a carefully orchestrated strike against the heart of the Red Dragonflight.

Zarithrian, on the bluff over there, is overseeing the assault, but the true leader of this force is a brash and powerful Twilight dragon named Halion. Not since Dargonax has a full-grown spawn of Sinestra's twisted experiments been seen.

Slay him, <name>, and then when the invasion has been fully repelled, report to Krasus regarding all you have seen here.

People are really going to cry because a quest to kill a boss that drops iLevel 258/271 gear on NORMAL rewards 5 frost emblems?

I must have missed the memo that Emblem of Frost was supposed to be exclusive content reserved for top 500 guilds.

The quest marker shows that [npc=39863] should spawn in the center of the Ruby Sanctum, but he was not there. Took me a little while to figure out that you need to first kill [npc=39747] and [npc=39751] before the flame walls drop and you have access to the area where [npc=39746] is on top of the ridge. Once you dispatch him, [npc=39863] should spawn in the middle of the map.

The fight begins as normal, and once you get him to around 50%, he will go into a portal. follow him through and finish him off. Hope this helps, and may you have an easier time than I did!
