Torch Tossing (ID 11922)

Torch Tossing is a Horde-only quest for level 1-90. It rewards 1 reward item, 9,500 experience and money.

Description

So you want to be a fire juggler? Do you have what it takes? The dexterity? The reflexes? ...the courage? If you think so, then let's give you a little practice!

Take these torches and run near the bonfire. You'll see braziers with markers flashing above them. Toss a torch at a marked brazier. Be quick! Do it before the mark fades if you want credit for the toss!

Hit enough marked braziers before the time limit, then come back here... for your next lesson.

Tip: Hotkey the torch.
Just like the bombing runs on the Isle, this gets far easier if you aren't clicking the item then positioning it.
Makes it bunches easier for the next bit. Good luck!

PROTIP: Go for every other target.
See, when you throw it, it takes a second or two to land. If the mark moves before it lands, you don't get credit. (You can tell when it hits, because the fire flares up.) So it you wait one mark out, and have your torch ready to throw, you can throw as soon as the mark lights up on the new target, and make it before the mark moves. That's how I finally got it. :)

You have to be standing next to the bonfire or in the bonfire to toss them correctly. Do not throw them in the bonfire itself.
