TheWoWDBNot sure if this happened to anyone else, but when i headed out for this quest, according to the map, it looked very much like this quest was located in felwood. I ran north (into far higher level mobs) and was very confused when my marker appeared to be located inside some mountains. As I turned tail and headed south, something clicked and the quest relocated itself to ashenvale where it was supposed to be. Just thought I'd throw this out there for anyone who runs into the same issue. Very frustrating.

This is a breadcrumb quest and therefore will not be available to those who have already completed the follow-up.
From crossroads: go North to Ashenvale. Follow the road, take a left at the split (Astranaar/Felwood) and go over the bridge at Falfarren River.Continue to follow the road, keeping left to Astranaar at the signpost. Smile at the cute little deer and moths and take a left into Silverwind Refuge. If you hit Thunder Peak where everything is on fire, you've gone a bit too far.

All able bodied members of the Horde are hereby ordered to report to Blood Guard Aldo Rockrain at Silverwind Refuge in Ashenvale. The Horde forces in Stonetalon need your help to drive back the Alliance invaders and protect our people. The blood guard will direct you to the border of Stonetalon. To reach Silverwind Refuge, travel into the heart of Ashenvale and join our forces by the lake. Destiny calls!
