Two things about this rare that Rogues should know. 1) He doesn't react to [spell=30832] like other mobs. I had 6 combo points when I hit him with it and he was only stunned for 3 seconds, not 7 as other mobs are. 2) (This is really for everyone) there is a pat that will sneak up on you while fighting him. A [npc=133358] and her pet [npc=133357]. I was doing ok with just [npc=126907], keeping my health up, knocking his down. But when they showed up, I got my lunch handed to me. Maybe someone with better gear won't have a problem, but I had to [spell=229264] with my health at 5%.
I waited a few minutes, while I ate and got my health back up. Luckily a group came by and attacked him. I joined in and we took care of him and that darn pat. The pat wouldn't have given me problems, and he wouldn't have given me problems. But I know that pat would rez half way killing him. So, I'm glad that group showed up when they did. :D
If you're a mage, use spellsteal to steal the 50% health buff.
