TheWoWDBI managed to pick up the warspear, but the banner and letter wouldn't spawn. Abandonded the quest and picked it up, which fixed the problem.

Idago is still alive! He is held captive in a mausoleum on the west side of the Zul'Aman map between Atal'aman and the Broken Throne. I can't figure out out to free him. He is asking for help. I killed all the guys in the mausoleum, but it didn't help. I looked and could not find any clickable item.

Description
Idago was my most trusted guard. He was a mentor to me for as long as I remember. I never thought dat he would be taken from me so soon--and then de Twilight's Blade attacked us without warnin'. Idago is de one that saved me from de village. He left his spear and his banner behind. I also left a note he gave me in case he... Bring me those items. With dem, we can honor his strength and his loyalty--and send his spirit on.

after you turn quest in what remains of Indago to Lilaju, she gives you another quest, once you get in crypt, Indago is chained to wall and gives you a quest telling you to rip pages out of 2 books to free him. Took me a few minutes to figure out in the room that seems impenetrable to cross- you target the ogre and the after he dies the curtain comes down and you can retrieve second book. Then you return to Indago and Lilajun the quests Spears against the shadows and simply magical.
