1) Notice the 4 pressure plates around the room.

2) Submerge & dif which will spawn a huge gold dude

3) have gold dude cast his giant circular AoR as you stand on the platform

4) Use the same giant gold dude on other pressure plates.

5) If your gold dude died no worries just dig up another

If you kill [npc=205330] before you realize how the mechanic works, you can re-dig the mob up. Just use sniff again, then burrow and dig.
The cast for [spell=411045] is instant and drops on where you are standing. It does not follow you, so make sure you are standing on the pressure plate before the spell is cast.

The gold piles lasted about 2 minutes for me on the pressure plates. So there is plenty of time to drop 4 gold piles and kill it.

Don't make my mistake and think the chest in the corner will suddenly become lootable. A passageway opens, and the loot is on an upper level.
