TheWoWDBDid I miss something? Perhaps I started quests in the wrong area of the zone, but I don't get how this quest starts....did the Ysondre request me to go at some point and I missed it? All the quests Adella gives before this one doesn't seem to have much to do with anything Emerald Dream related. I just don't get where the dragons pop into this chain.

Indeed, you need to complete ALL the quests given by Adella before she will give you this quest. The prerequisite is Spiteful Sisters which is only given after you complete the 4 other quests given just before it and so on.
No, I get what Kajir is saying. This is a very abrupt shift. All of a sudden the you're just dropped into the story. I read the first line of the quest text and I was like, "what dragon? Where?". It's weird.

Description
A dragon of the emerald dream... what have you gotten yourself involved in, {name}? I wouldn't keep her waiting if I were you. The place she spoke of is what we call the Emerald Summit. A path off the main road through the Lower Wilds leads up one of the high stone plateaus; there's a small shrine at the top. Good luck, {name}. I hope to see you back safe.

Something truly disturbing has occured. While on patrol, several of my scouts were ambushed by dryads. The dryads are close allies of the night elves and guardians of the forest. I assumed they were just frightened by the sight of worgen, but the sentinels I sent out afterwards were also attacked.
