Zinfizzlex's Portable Shredder Unit

NPC Zinfizzlex is at the entrance to Winterax cave (across the bridge from Snowfall graveyard).
Whichever faction talks to him FIRST gets him as their ally. He then walks (slowly) back across the bridge and then RUNS from the base of the Snowfall bluff to either Frostwolf keep (if horde) or Dun Baldur (if Alliance). He CAN be killed by the opposing team.
If he manages to successfully make it to the keep you can then get / hand in the quests

This is repeatable!

But keep in mind that you can only have one [item=17410] in your bags, so you'll have to delete it if you want to turn in the quest again for more badges.

The quest requires Friendly reputation to pick up.

Update: It seems to be random which faction has "control" over the NPC. Sometimes he'll be available for the Horde in the main Horde base, and sometimes the Alliance has captured him and then only Alliance characters can do his quest.

The shredder does NOT last for 3 days of in-game time. It lasts for 3 days total from the minute you make it, whether you're online playing or not. Mine disappeared and I opened a ticket because I hadn't played for anything close to 72 hours on that character. Here is the ticket response below.

If this was 72 hours in game, it is a blast and a ton of fun. It is definitely not worth just 3 days total though. I only got to use it 2 or 3 times!

Response to my ticket (RP nonsense edited out):
When items have an Ingame duration, it starts ticking down the moment you get it, and it does not only count online time in the game on that character. It counts actual real world time.

Your Zinfizzlex's Portable Shredder Unit was created at 2019-11-25 00:37:36 GMT which is over 3 days ago now, and has since expired. This is not a bug or anything in this case.
