A curse turned the humans of Gilneas into savage worgen, who harness their ferocity to aid their allies.
Racial Abilities (9)
- Aberration
Reduces Shadow and Nature damage taken by 1%.
- Altered Form
Enables Worgens to switch between human and Worgen forms
- Calm the Wolf
Activate to control your worgen instincts and automatically assume human form when you leave combat.
- Darkflight
Activates your true form, increasing current movement speed by an additional 40% for 10 sec.
- Flayer
Increases your Skinning Skill by 5 and Deftness by 25%. Deftness allows you to skin more quickly.
- Running Wild
Drop to all fours to run as fast as a wild animal.
- Two Forms
Turn into your currently inactive form.
- Viciousness
Increases critical strike chance by 1%.

- Azeroth's bestiary files Worgen under the Humanoid creature type, the same classification the game uses on every NPC that shares the body.
