Reading these numbers
At current lowest listed prices the 3 reagents for one craft of Apricate Ink cost 35 gold35 silver. Most of that is Luredrop Pigment - 5 at 3 gold99 silver each, 19 gold95 silver, 56.4% of the whole basket. Watch that one price and you have watched most of this recipe.
Break-even is 37 gold21 silver - below that listed price the craft loses gold once Blizzard’s 5% cut is taken. The crafted item’s lowest listed price is 25 gold71 silver, which does not clear it.
The crafted item currently lists for less than its reagents cost: −9 gold64 silver before fees, and the Auction House would still take 1 gold28 silver of a sale, so a craft loses 10 gold92 silver at these prices. At current listings, buying the crafted item costs less than making it. That is an estimated -30.9% return on the gold you put into reagents.
Listing depth right now: 323 units across 40 auctions region-wide. Depth separates a market price from a single asking figure, but listings are not sales, so read it alongside the estimate.
Costs use each reagent’s lowest listed price; the estimate is the crafted item’s lowest listed price, times the items one craft makes, minus those reagents and Blizzard’s 5% sale cut. Listings are asking prices, not sales. Recalculated every snapshot and left blank rather than guessed when a price is missing. How we estimate crafting profit →
