Azurescale Sigil quality ranks
Azurescale Sigil comes in 3 quality ranks, and each rank is its own item on the Auction House. The recipe’s base crafting difficulty is 300.
| Rank | Item | Lowest listed price | Listings (US) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Rank 1 | Azurescale Sigil | 201 gold52 silver | 7 listings, 64 units |
| Rank 2 | Azurescale Sigil | 59 gold38 silver | 6 listings, 34 units |
| Rank 3 | Azurescale Sigil | 1 gold86 silver | 18 listings, 90 units |
The crafting estimate above is the base comparison: rank 1 reagents against the rank 1 result. Your skill and the reagents’ ranks decide which rank a craft actually makes, so a higher rank is never priced against rank 1 reagents here. Right now rank 1 lists above rank 2 and rank 3, so a craft that comes out at a higher rank is worth less at today’s listings, not more.

Reading these numbers
At current lowest listed prices the 3 reagents for one craft of Azurescale Sigil cost 208 gold94 silver. Most of that is Burnished Ink - 2 at 58 gold96 silver each, 117 gold92 silver, 56.4% of the whole basket. Watch that one price and you have watched most of this recipe.
Break-even is 219 gold93 silver - below that listed price the craft loses gold once Blizzard’s 5% cut is taken. The crafted item’s lowest listed price is 201 gold52 silver, which does not clear it.
The crafted item currently lists for less than its reagents cost: −7 gold42 silver before fees, and the Auction House would still take 10 gold7 silver of a sale, so a craft loses 17 gold49 silver at these prices. At current listings, buying the crafted item costs less than making it. That is an estimated -8.4% return on the gold you put into reagents.
Listing depth right now: 64 units across 7 auctions region-wide. Depth separates a market price from a single asking figure, but listings are not sales, so read it alongside the estimate.
Costs use each reagent’s lowest listed price; the estimate is the crafted item’s lowest listed price, times the items one craft makes, minus those reagents and Blizzard’s 5% sale cut. Listings are asking prices, not sales. Recalculated every snapshot and left blank rather than guessed when a price is missing. How we estimate crafting profit →
