Crafting estimate at current listings
No real market: too few listings for this price to mean anything yet.
- Reagent cost (lowest listed)
- 263 gold8 silver
- Crafted item, lowest listed price
- 17,421 gold25 silver
- Auction House cut (5%)
- 871 gold6 silver
- Estimated profit at that listed price
- 16,287 gold10 silver
Thin market: the crafted item’s lowest listing comes from very few current listings and sits far out of line with reagent cost. Treat this estimate as unverified until more listings accrue.
- Evidence: 4 current listings holding 16 units of the crafted item in the US region. We see listings, not sales, so how many sell and at what price is unknown.
- Quality: Emberscale Sigil comes in 3 quality ranks. This is the base comparison, rank 1 reagents against the rank 1 result; your skill and the reagents’ ranks decide the rank you actually get, which this estimate does not model. Each rank’s lowest listing is in the rank table below.
- Not included: the recipe also accepts 2 finishing reagent slots, which are not required and are left out of the cost.

Emberscale Sigil quality ranks
Emberscale Sigil comes in 3 quality ranks, and each rank is its own item on the Auction House. The recipe’s base crafting difficulty is 300.
| Rank | Item | Lowest listed price | Listings (US) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Rank 1 | Emberscale Sigil | 17,421 gold25 silver | 4 listings, 16 units |
| Rank 2 | Emberscale Sigil | 824 gold48 silver | 2 listings, 6 units |
| Rank 3 | Emberscale Sigil | 2 gold22 silver | 4 listings, 25 units |
The crafting estimate above is the base comparison: rank 1 reagents against the rank 1 result. Your skill and the reagents’ ranks decide which rank a craft actually makes, so a higher rank is never priced against rank 1 reagents here. Right now rank 1 lists above rank 2 and rank 3, so a craft that comes out at a higher rank is worth less at today’s listings, not more.

Reading these numbers
At current lowest listed prices the 3 reagents for one craft of Emberscale Sigil cost 263 gold8 silver. Most of that is Awakened Fire - 1 at 130 gold90 silver each, 130 gold90 silver, 49.8% of the whole basket. Watch that one price and you have watched most of this recipe.
Break-even is 276 gold92 silver - below that listed price the craft loses gold once Blizzard’s 5% cut is taken. The crafted item’s lowest listed price is 17,421 gold25 silver, which clears it.
At that listed price the gross margin before fees is 17,158 gold17 silver; the Auction House would keep 871 gold6 silver of a sale, leaving 16,287 gold10 silver. That is an estimated 6190.9% return on the gold you put into reagents, after the cut has taken 5.1% of the gross.
Listing depth right now: 16 units across 4 auctions region-wide. Depth separates a market price from a single asking figure, but listings are not sales, so read it alongside the estimate.
Costs use each reagent’s lowest listed price; the estimate is the crafted item’s lowest listed price, times the items one craft makes, minus those reagents and Blizzard’s 5% sale cut. Listings are asking prices, not sales. Recalculated every snapshot and left blank rather than guessed when a price is missing. How we estimate crafting profit →
