Reading these numbers
At current lowest listed prices the 3 reagents for one craft of Elixir of Lesser Agility cost 4 gold79 silver. Most of that is Wild Steelbloom - 1 at 3 gold78 silver each, 3 gold78 silver, 78.9% of the whole basket. Watch that one price and you have watched most of this recipe.
Break-even is 5 gold4 silver - below that listed price the craft loses gold once Blizzard’s 5% cut is taken. The crafted item’s lowest listed price is 11 gold17 silver, which clears it.
At that listed price the gross margin before fees is 6 gold38 silver; the Auction House would keep 55 silver85 copper of a sale, leaving 5 gold82 silver. That is an estimated 121.5% return on the gold you put into reagents, after the cut has taken 8.8% of the gross.
Listing depth right now: 475 units across 23 auctions region-wide. Depth separates a market price from a single asking figure, but listings are not sales, so read it alongside the estimate.
Costs use each reagent’s lowest listed price; the estimate is the crafted item’s lowest listed price, times the items one craft makes, minus those reagents and Blizzard’s 5% sale cut. Listings are asking prices, not sales. Recalculated every snapshot and left blank rather than guessed when a price is missing. How we estimate crafting profit →
