Reading these numbers
At current lowest listed prices the 4 reagents for one craft of Erratic Genesis Matrix cost 93 gold77 silver. Most of that is Wormfed Gear Assembly - 4 at 7 gold99 silver each, 31 gold96 silver, 34.1% of the whole basket. Watch that one price and you have watched most of this recipe.
Break-even is 98 gold70 silver - below that listed price the craft loses gold once Blizzard’s 5% cut is taken. The crafted item’s lowest listed price is 700 gold72 silver, which clears it.
At that listed price the gross margin before fees is 606 gold95 silver; the Auction House would keep 35 gold3 silver of a sale, leaving 571 gold91 silver. That is an estimated 609.9% return on the gold you put into reagents, after the cut has taken 5.8% of the gross.
Listing depth right now: 84 units across 16 auctions region-wide. Depth separates a market price from a single asking figure, but listings are not sales, so read it alongside the estimate.
Costs use each reagent’s lowest listed price; the estimate is the crafted item’s lowest listed price, times the items one craft makes, minus those reagents and Blizzard’s 5% sale cut. Listings are asking prices, not sales. Recalculated every snapshot and left blank rather than guessed when a price is missing. How we estimate crafting profit →
