Reading these numbers
At current lowest listed prices the 4 reagents for one craft of Pure-Air Sail Extensions cost 33 gold94 silver. Most of that is Progenium Ore - 4 at 4 gold57 silver each, 18 gold28 silver, 53.9% of the whole basket. Watch that one price and you have watched most of this recipe.
Break-even is 35 gold72 silver - below that listed price the craft loses gold once Blizzard’s 5% cut is taken. The crafted item’s lowest listed price is 292 gold79 silver, which clears it.
At that listed price the gross margin before fees is 258 gold85 silver; the Auction House would keep 14 gold63 silver of a sale, leaving 244 gold21 silver. That is an estimated 719.5% return on the gold you put into reagents, after the cut has taken 5.7% of the gross.
Listing depth right now: 385 units across 18 auctions region-wide. Depth separates a market price from a single asking figure, but listings are not sales, so read it alongside the estimate.
Costs use each reagent’s lowest listed price; the estimate is the crafted item’s lowest listed price, times the items one craft makes, minus those reagents and Blizzard’s 5% sale cut. Listings are asking prices, not sales. Recalculated every snapshot and left blank rather than guessed when a price is missing. How we estimate crafting profit →
