Reading these numbers
At current lowest listed prices the 3 reagents for one craft of Major Troll's Blood Elixir cost 4 gold16 silver. Most of that is Liferoot - 1 at 2 gold30 silver each, 2 gold30 silver, 55.3% of the whole basket. Watch that one price and you have watched most of this recipe.
Break-even is 4 gold37 silver - below that listed price the craft loses gold once Blizzard’s 5% cut is taken. The crafted item’s lowest listed price is 9 gold7 silver, which clears it.
At that listed price the gross margin before fees is 4 gold91 silver; the Auction House would keep 45 silver35 copper of a sale, leaving 4 gold45 silver. That is an estimated 107.1% return on the gold you put into reagents, after the cut has taken 9.2% of the gross.
Listing depth right now: 830 units across 23 auctions region-wide. Depth separates a market price from a single asking figure, but listings are not sales, so read it alongside the estimate.
Costs use each reagent’s lowest listed price; the estimate is the crafted item’s lowest listed price, times the items one craft makes, minus those reagents and Blizzard’s 5% sale cut. Listings are asking prices, not sales. Recalculated every snapshot and left blank rather than guessed when a price is missing. How we estimate crafting profit →
