Crafting estimate at current listings
No real market: too few listings for this price to mean anything yet.
- Reagent cost (lowest listed)
- 97 gold87 silver
- Crafted item, lowest listed price (each)
- 5,000 gold78 silver
- Items per craft
- 20
- Listed value of one craft
- 100,015 gold60 silver
- Auction House cut (5%)
- 5,000 gold78 silver
- Estimated profit at that listed price
- 94,916 gold95 silver
Thin market: the crafted item’s lowest listing comes from very few current listings and sits far out of line with reagent cost. Treat this estimate as unverified until more listings accrue.
- Evidence: 4 current listings holding 115 units of the crafted item in the US region. We see listings, not sales, so how many sell and at what price is unknown.
- Outlier: the crafted item’s lowest listing is 74% below its 30-day median of 18,888 gold78 silver, so this estimate rests on a listing far below its usual level.
- Items per craft: the game’s spell data creates 20 per craft, so the listed value of one craft is that many times the lowest listed price.

Reading these numbers
At current lowest listed prices the 4 reagents for one craft of Mana Potion Injector cost 97 gold87 silver. Most of that is Fel Iron Casing - 1 at 55 gold89 silver each, 55 gold89 silver, 57.1% of the whole basket. Watch that one price and you have watched most of this recipe.
Break-even is 103 gold2 silver per craft, 5 gold15 silver per item at 20 items a craft - below that listed price the craft loses gold once Blizzard’s 5% cut is taken. The crafted item’s lowest listed price is 5,000 gold78 silver, which clears it.
At that listed price the gross margin before fees is 99,917 gold73 silver; the Auction House would keep 5,000 gold78 silver of a sale, leaving 94,916 gold95 silver. That is an estimated 96982.7% return on the gold you put into reagents, after the cut has taken 5.0% of the gross.
Listing depth right now: 115 units across 4 auctions region-wide. Depth separates a market price from a single asking figure, but listings are not sales, so read it alongside the estimate.
Costs use each reagent’s lowest listed price; the estimate is the crafted item’s lowest listed price, times the items one craft makes, minus those reagents and Blizzard’s 5% sale cut. Listings are asking prices, not sales. Recalculated every snapshot and left blank rather than guessed when a price is missing. How we estimate crafting profit →
