Reading these numbers
At current lowest listed prices the 2 reagents for one craft of Scroll of Versatility VI cost 2 gold31 silver. Most of that is Shimmering Ink - 1 at 2 gold29 silver each, 2 gold29 silver, 99.1% of the whole basket. Watch that one price and you have watched most of this recipe.
Break-even is 2 gold43 silver per craft, 1 gold21 silver per item at 2 items a craft - below that listed price the craft loses gold once Blizzard’s 5% cut is taken. The crafted item’s lowest listed price is 3 silver, which does not clear it.
The crafted item currently lists for less than its reagents cost: −2 gold25 silver before fees, and the Auction House would still take 30 copper of a sale, so a craft loses 2 gold25 silver at these prices. At current listings, buying the crafted item costs less than making it. That is an estimated -97.5% return on the gold you put into reagents.
Listing depth right now: 51 units across 21 auctions region-wide. Depth separates a market price from a single asking figure, but listings are not sales, so read it alongside the estimate.
Costs use each reagent’s lowest listed price; the estimate is the crafted item’s lowest listed price, times the items one craft makes, minus those reagents and Blizzard’s 5% sale cut. Listings are asking prices, not sales. Recalculated every snapshot and left blank rather than guessed when a price is missing. How we estimate crafting profit →
