Reading these numbers
At current lowest listed prices the 2 reagents for one craft of Vantus Rune: Nythendra cost 200 gold90 silver. Most of that is Sallow Pigment - 5 at 31 gold36 silver each, 156 gold80 silver, 78.0% of the whole basket. Watch that one price and you have watched most of this recipe.
Break-even is 211 gold47 silver - below that listed price the craft loses gold once Blizzard’s 5% cut is taken. The crafted item’s lowest listed price is 237 gold50 silver, which clears it.
At that listed price the gross margin before fees is 36 gold60 silver; the Auction House would keep 11 gold87 silver of a sale, leaving 24 gold72 silver. That is an estimated 12.3% return on the gold you put into reagents, after the cut has taken 32.4% of the gross.
Listing depth right now: 50 units across 7 auctions region-wide. Depth separates a market price from a single asking figure, but listings are not sales, so read it alongside the estimate.
Costs use each reagent’s lowest listed price; the estimate is the crafted item’s lowest listed price, times the items one craft makes, minus those reagents and Blizzard’s 5% sale cut. Listings are asking prices, not sales. Recalculated every snapshot and left blank rather than guessed when a price is missing. How we estimate crafting profit →
