Where you hear it

undeadmalelaugh01.ogg is the hollow, rasping laugh of a male Forsaken. The client still stores the race under a 'scourge' folder, a leftover from early development before the Forsaken name was settled. Undead players hear it in the Undercity beneath the ruins of Lordaeron. The laugh is dry and slightly creepy, fitting the race's dark humour. It lasts about two and a half seconds.

Notification sound

Over a text, a dry, rasping laugh registers instantly and is hard to confuse with a stock phone chime.

Discord soundboard

  2. Open Settings, System, Sound, More sound settings, then the Sounds tab.
  3. Pick an event such as Notification, click Browse, choose the WAV, then Apply.
