Rivendare's Deathcharger

A CM recently comfirmed this:
While random is indeed random, the chance of Deathchanger's Reins dropping was increased with 3.0.2. This is the second time the drop rate has been increased, from the rather crazy 1 in 5000 WAY back in the day to the 1 in 100 it is now

157 kills later this mount dropped for me.

I just want to confirm a few things as FALSE: rumors has been going around, originated from some random source, that the mount cannot drop due to that you simply do some things "wrong" in the instance. For example...

"You must kill the mini bosses in this order: Banshee - Human - Spider" // FALSE
"You must kill every boss in Stratholme in order to make the mount have a chance to appear in Rivendare's loot table" // FALSE
"You must do this run without breaking a single crate" // FALSE
"You must kill Ramstein the Gorger OUTSIDE of the Slaughterhouse" // FALSE
"You must kill the swarm of critters while locked in between the two gates at the Undead side of Stratholme" // FALSE
"You must kill all trash before mount can drop" // FALSE

Yeah, you get the picture. Bogus rumors that shouldn't get you on the wrong track.

All the loot tables are set in stone as soon as you enter an instance/raid, and the ONE AND ONLY WAY to alter them is to reset the instance/raid itself. Since there is no possible way to determine what a boss drops before it's actually dead, you simply have to maw through every single ID of Stratholme that the RNG offers you upon entering until you end up in one that rewards you with the mount.

Last note of encouragement: I know how tedious farming this mount can get, but don't give up. Eventually, the mount WILL appear and when it does so, you'll feel that all the time you've put down on farming it was worth the effort.

It's amazing to think that in the ~1500 times I've killed this boss over the last decade and a half Blizzard has re-released the vanilla game, and somebody in THAT game got the mount before I did.

I'm not even mad, that's just impressive.
