TheWoWDBArguably the best PvE enchant for casters, even in BC. Physical dpsers will likely get agi, but casters have few if any other options.
2% threat adds up nicely. At 1000 dps (common for dps classes), this basically means your threat generation is equivalent to doing 1200 less damage every minute.

1000 dps over 1 minute = 60,000 damage. 2% threat reduction means it is the equivilant of 1200 damage, over 1 minute. His numbers were right, he just expressed them as DPS and the value over a minute. TPS wise, this enchant makes 1000 TPS = 980 TPS. Nothing huge, but as he mentioned, over a 4-10 minute boss fight, that's 4800-12,000 less threat. -Rick
I cannot recall of any boss that actually has resistances.
The occasional partial resists you may notice are caused by the level difference (boss level =yours+3), which translates to a damage loss equivalent of 15resistance, but cannot be mitigated.In conclusion, this is the only viable choice for casters in PvE
