Here's a little macro to add a bit of flavour to this spell.

This spell is awarded to you after completing the quest The Light of Dawn.

It summons a gateway in which the Death Knight may enter and return to Ebon Hold.

Personally, I think it's one of the more visually appealing spells. What isn't "cool" or "neat" about summoning a gateway back to a necropolis?

Another use for Death Gate: After falling into a lava pit from which I could not climb out, I found that the constant lava damage prevented me using my hearthstone but only caused pushback on the Death Gate spell, allowing me to escape to safety in the nick of time.
