Druids in Cat Form, Bear Form, Travel Form or [spell=1066], are treated as Beasts, and thus are susceptible to Hunters' [spell=1513]. Also, they will not show up on Track Humanoids but will show up on Track Beasts.
Druids in [spell=33891] are treated as Elementals and thus are susceptible to [spell=710] and [spell=76780].

EDIT: For patch accuracy. Thanks for the responses.

Druids in Cat, Bear, Dire Bear, Travel or Aquatic form, due to not being humanoid anymore, cannot be sapped.

No more quest to get this. Instead, you learn it at a trainer at level 15. Kind of sad that they removed the questline, I thought it was cool. It made you feel like you were really gaining a powerful ability :)

In patch 3.2, the appearance of druid bear and cat forms will be redesigned, with five different color schemes to chose from, based on the druid's hair (night elf) or skin (tauren) color.

I just submitted several screenshots for bothe the Troll and Worgen Bear forms since thier are hardly any yet posted. I did use hair color referance in classifying each bear and they are labled as i saw them on my computer. (*note for Worgens the color hair you have in your human side determines your form color, and is difficult to change the color since you have to be in Worgen side to use the barber's. the colors are as followed going right starting with: black, Brown, Pale Tan, Red, and last a Golden Blonde)

i know most people wont care but for those people like me that do i hope thes screenshots and information helps :)

Despite of this being the form to tank with, in BC and WotLK content this is the form to go if you want to level fast as feral.

Altho Catform is the DPS form, it takes a while for it's damage to build up - while the health the mobs have favor burst over dots.

Therefor, you can 2-3 shot mobs in Bearform, while you take around twice or thrice the amount of time to kill em in Catform.

Not to mention the ability to pull groups of 10-15 and AoEing them down thanks to Savage Defense.

I assume you mean claws. Would be pretty weird if the form had 5 paws, especially when the icon shows one. Also this and the Dire Bear Form page are currently broken on the wrath version of the site(Edit: It's fixed now)

Blizzard answering questions about Shapeshift forms, Blizzcon 2014 (source):

  1. "In shapeshift form could it be a real animal roar?"
You want a roar for each specific animal?

  2. "No but if you do a /roar, you sound like a Troll or something."
    Noted. Good idea.

I hope for this! Like the Worgen form roar vs the Human roar, it must be possible!

there is a quest you will receive from the druid trainer that will not only give you the spell Teleport: Moonglade (http://www.wowhead.com/?spell=18960) but will require that you use it to go there and complete the quest. By Txero33 (2,227 – 9·19) on 2006/11/25 (Patch 1.12.2) Wearing cloth armor will drastically hurt your bear armor. Wearing gear with extra armor on it is a great idea. (i.e. Rings, weapons, exceptionally high armored pieces, etc.)

Please note that this is no longer true as bears now benefint only from leather items (as in, get that +armor). Rings, weapons and other items wwill grant the same amount of armor as they show in their tooltips.

The devs told us exactly how 7.0 Bear Form rage generation works at the links below.

http://us.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/20743504316?page=13#248

I'm pasting it here as they typically delete the beta forums after release.

Q: What is the base rage gain per white attack in Bear Form?

7.875 for level 20 and up (It’s higher before that, but I doubt you care). It’s 1.75 baseline, * 2.5 attack speed, * 1.8 bear form multiplier.

It's getting nerfed in WoD down to 180% stamina :( There's a druid perk raising the stamina 10% more though, but the armor won't be increased.

The perk for this is [spell=157292]... I just hope Blizzard releases a glyph to make this better as it used to be.

I just passed level 10 with my druid (now i'm 12). With selfmade Embossed and similar level of leatherworking armor parts i've got arround 1000 armor whitch is much more than a typical Warrior, with extra stamina HP is 512 on that level. So druid is quite better in this part, but while shapeshifted you will still lack threat generating skills, so tell all your party mates to give you a few seconds to build aggro, and try not to attack "red level" monsters, they will resist your Growl, and hit you to hard to build aggro without healing. I mentained a level 12 elite while on 10, so it's possible, but really hard, as monsters will resist your taunt often.
