I only wish that Chosen Identity would put us back into visage form when mounting and after using hover (out of combat). Seems like an oversight :(
To always precast visage before mounting I use a feature of the addon Lite Mount
type /litemount to open options
goto Advanced Options, click Unlock
After the line that says: Dismount [nofalling] insert the following lines
IF [noaura:Visage]
PreCast Visage
END
Tooltip
