Disturbing icon.
The icon's filename is "AbominationExplosion" inside the WoW game files, and it is a recolored version of the WarCraft III Abomination unit's "Disease Cloud" ability, so it's probably supposed to be an abomination or other undead unit bursting apart. Likely a leftover from the scrapped-in-alpha Necromancer class, and the icon was annexed for Corruption after Blizzard decided to merge Necro and Warlock into one class, because it looked suitably gruesome. If you look closely between the eyes, you can see what appears to be a stitch, supporting the abomination origin. But in today's context, it
