Posting my experience after pilfering 50k Thorium Widget and 6.2k [item=198194], sharing this so people is aware that getting that permit is not as easy as other people mention.

• Total investment was 2.5M g buying 150k Thorium Ore and 50k Runecloth in different batches depending of the cost.

• Total revenue from Scour Through Scrap and selling [item=219150] was ~650k g.

• Total time smelting and crafting materials was ~193 Hours if my math is correct, not counting Scouring time.

Total mats obtained after pilfering all these mats.

• A lot of [item=219150], didn't count them.

• A lot of Bountiful Bolts, also didn't count them but more than 5k for sure.

• 133 Assorted Whirligigs.

• 0 Pummel Permit. Yes I'm unlucky af and I'm still crying over this, I had to buy the permit for 950k g on AH so that's why the invest is so high.

At the end it was a interesting experience working with my GF and brother to smelt and craft all that stuff but not doing it again lmao. It ends up being just a gamble so if you're not lucky getting the permit you won't have a lot of profit.

PD: This was done during the first days of release, prices right now are not worth so you might need to hunt cheap materials or farm them on your own.

Value of scrap was 130k

AH value of input materials as of writing is roughly 600k but changes quickly and can be much lower if you put crafting time into it
Too early to say how often the permit will drop. I know one other person who got it in 2000 pilfers using same material.

All vendor mats, unknown if other sources.

Costs 3.1 million gold to buy all mats, sold by [npc=223163]

Pummel Permit had limited quantity of 1, all other mats had no limit.
