Just the dps essence ([item=168860]), for instance, will run you 26 [item=168832] + 62 [item=169610] total to get to rank 3. Worse if you have multiple specs that need them. The oscillators can very rarely drop from chests, but you're otherwise limited to getting 1 per day from the big daily quest at Mechagon (kill 3 rares/ open 6 chests/ etc.).
