TheWoWDBJust found out you can kill mobs with these. Fought a 50mio HP Rare Elite and it killed him instant. Pretty sure he was above 70%. Tested with normal enemies, killing them instantly with the larger explosions, dont know (yet) with the smaller ones.

You can also accidently kill other players with this if you overload the node at the right time.
First mining node in thirteen years that has killed me. Carpet bombed when I was at level 70.
I have died from mining misadventures before. Falls from great heights when misjudging a dismount, surprise attacks by elite mobs, accidental PvP episodes. Mainly my own stupidity but never from a node.
Hits pretty hard (1/2 health) and is a WTF moment when it happens. Funny as hell when it first happens.

Despite being mundane, it is often desired in high quantities by skilled craftsman due to its versatile properties.|n|nNature works in mysterious ways, but there is nothing natural about rocks covered in dynamite! Abnormally rich metal deposits spotted by "helpful" Engineers are sometimes rigged up for detonation for an easy yield, but they are often abandoned when the demolitionist come to their senses.
Keeping one's distance and mining delicately may be enough to chip off a piece or two, but the process of natural selection need not be explained further.
