Green Holiday Shirt

The recipe is given as a reward from Grandfather Winter after you complete the milk and cookies quest.

I am a Leatherworker with 3 Tailors and an inscriber and the only character i completed the seasonal quests on was my Leatherworker and i still got this pattern with the red "Requires Tailoring" so i sent it to one of my tailoring characters.

I am assuming its either a random pattern from any profession or always this pattern regardless of professions.

I'm thinking you recieve any one of these, not one relating to your professions.

As of 2.3, the pattern seems to be a reward for the Stolen Winter Veil Treats ( http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=7042 ) quest line (Winter Veil Holiday). The milk and cookies quest now only rewards food and drink.

There appear to be a variety of patterns from the quest, I cannot confirm whether or not it's based on your profession, but I got this as a tailor, and an engineering friend received and engineering pattern, so I can only guess this is the case. Perhaps someone can confirm this.
