Hotfix from September 6th, 2016:
Gunshoes and Gunpowder Charges should now craft stacks instead of single items.
Well at least now I'll consider making these! (For future readers, the same mats used to craft a single consumable.)
As explained on the wow-professions site, making around 100-140 of these will make you level 100 legion engineering in literally minutes.
Some prerequisites are needed, like buying rank 2 and 3 for 250 and 500 sightless eyes combined and having some engineering quests completed in Dalaran.
