Also, ice patches form. Standing in an ice patch inflicts 33.5324 Frost damage every 1 sec.

These patches grow over 20 sec before exploding, inflicting 120 Frost damage to enemies.

How it works

Howling Blizzard is built from 2 client effects, applied in this order:

  1. Effect 1 is Apply Aura (effect type 6). It applies aura type 23. It ticks every 1 sec, 20 times over the full 20 sec. It triggers Howling Blizzard.
  2. Effect 2 is Apply Aura (effect type 6). It applies aura type 395.

Howling Blizzard is a Frost spell with a 3 sec cast, an unlimited range and effects that last 20 sec. When cast it applies an aura every 1 sec and applies an aura. It also casts Howling Blizzard (record #362495).
