The Add-On Interactive Wormholes (CurseForge / Wago / WoWInterface) display the locations on the map when using the spell instead of the default list for easy teleportation.

When you first approach a new mole machine, it will have the gold gear icon when you hover. Once you click it, the gold gear goes away; that's the only sign that it has been recorded as a travel option for you.
