Murloc Scale Breastplate

I bought this pattern, hunted murlocs for over an hour to get the Slimy Murloc Scales for it; I was really excited about finally finishing this, that is, until I equipped it.

This chest armor looks like a shiny, chain mail halter top! REALLY, This thing has no sleeves and shows your toons midriff. This would look nice on a female character, but on a male....

Now MAYBE this is just how humans look in it, I don't know. Just a warning.

NOTE: If you think this is the look for you, OR you need some Slimy Murloc Scales, farm Darkshore directly West of the Grove of the Ancients; there's about 6 murloc's at this site that dropped Slimy Scales about 20% of the time, along with some loot worth collecting for sale. 2 of these mulocs will appear to be dead, but the still agro, hit, and drop loot. Respawn is around 12 minutes for all these guys.

Very nice Armor for low lvl Rogue or Hunter.

I've played on a couple of servers now, and this item is rather scarce, usualy i get a high lvl to farm me the Slimey Murloc Scales.

One of the very few mail-like chest pieces available for below-40 Hunters (heirlooms aside). Still leather, but the 'scales' resemble mail! For the more conservative players, just add a shirt underneath like [item=3342] (available to both Horde and Alliance) and you're good-to-go!
