Overload Elemental Deposit

You can use this ability near any special Elemental mining node. Doing so will "overload" it, which gives you an effect depending on the type of node:

• 
  
• [spell=389700] - spawns a [npc=196540] that drops extra random ore and Rousing Fire
• 
  
• [spell=389701] - spawns chunks of ore that you can mine for extra random ore and Rousing Earth
• 
  
• Overload Titan Deposit - opens a [spell=389127] which you can use to travel to another nearby mining node (this is often buggy and might teleport you to where you already are or not spawn at all)
• 
  
• [spell=389702] - will give you all the special elemental node buffs at double duration (4 min instead of 2 min)
• 
  
• [spell=389704] (War Mode only) - will cast a shockwave that knocks back enemies and gives you the [spell=388830] buff
• 
  
• [spell=405131] (Zaralek Caverns) - spawns five Metamorphic Spires nearby that drops extra random ore and Zaralek Glowspores; also gives you the [spell=407319] buff

You will also get some Rousing elements when overloading a node depending on the type of node. For this reason, Titan-Touched is usually the best option if you are mining for profit.

The first time you overload a node you will also get 1 [currency=2035], so it's worth doing at least once for each type.

The cooldown for this ability is 12 hours, but each time you mine a node it will get reduced by 30 minutes (more if you have specialized into the Mastering the Elements tree).

Mining any Primal node will also give you the short [spell=388829] buff that further increases the amount of cooldown reduction you get from mining nodes.

If you are a dual herbalist/miner, you can combine the new [spell=407326] buff from Herbalism with [spell=407319] from Mining to create [item=204911] which contains even more Zaralek Glowspores.
