Pearl-clasped Cloak

EDIT: The image pictured here seems to be no longer accurate, as the cloak now falls somewhere about knee level, still a pure white with golden border though, with a straight end.

Whether the Pearl Clasped Cloak is good or not, I have no experience; though one person has commented elsewhere that it is one of the very first BoE cloaks one can make (the Reinforced Linen Cape being the earlier one). However, as a Tailor, I do know that it requires a Small Lustrous Pearl as one of its mats and that a Small Lustrous Pearl, not being available from NPC vendors, must be farmed (with lowish drop-rates), traded, or obtained at the Auction House, and therefore more difficult/costly to obtain, (all the more so for those playing with a starter or veteran account without access to the Auction House or trades). For this reason, this item is frequently skipped by Tailors. The need for Small Lustrous Pearl means that the supply is more limited and partially explains why it sells for a good price (10g. approx) at the Auction House.
