To sum it up: What a wonderful waste of a capstone.

What do you get for investing 40 of your hard earned knowledge? An unusable piece of excrement that will annoy your party if you use it and probably (and rightfully) get you kicked from raids.
This thing doesn't only require you to channel, the channel has to finish in fight. Otherwise this piece of trash will despawn immediately. Non negotiable. If you have absolutely nothing to do pre-pull the best case scenario is that you don't waste too much time. If you managed to convince yourself that this was somehow worth the tradeoff, it's not over.
Once you have successfully wiped you will now experience the true trashiness of this thing. The range is basically a normal mass resurrection, nothing to complain about, the health and mana you get after accepting this rezz however differs slightly. This thing revives you at 1 health. If you are in an environment with any sort of ticking damage you will immediately die again. A critter could end your life immediately after.
If you think that this is still somehow worth the tradeoff here's the ultimate kick to the groin: Shortly after reviving everyone, this joke of a capstone will explode. Causing damage somewhat decidedly above the 1 health it has granted you.

So, not only does this have an extremely limited range of usability, it also has intentionally annoying features that further degrade its already debatable usefullness. If you use this in Raid you will get kicked out of that Raid. If you use this in m+ you will be kicked from the Group. And I can't even say that it'd be unjustified.

It's like someone at Blizzard tried to give something usefull to Engineers and then an absolute Misanthrope who hated Engineering in particular was tasked with implementing it. I commiserate with anyone who mistakenly took this path. Let our suffering be a warning example of what not to get.

Very useful for raid nights, after someone calls for a wipe and no soulstones are available.

Dragon Isles Engineering (1) is required, but in order to use it safely, just level it up to 25, and specialize in Mechanical Mind. Make sure you add at least 35 knowledge points to the main node (Mechanical Mind) to just use it, or 40 if you plan to craft the device yourself.

The device needs to be casted while in combat, otherwise the bot will die within 3 seconds.
Once in combat, and as close as possible to the wipe point, run to a safe spot, use a defensive or immunity and use the device. It will take a few seconds, depending on the quality of the item (around 2 seconds at max quality).
Make sure everyone dies as soon as the device is placed down.
When the fight is over, the robot will cast a mass resurrection , wobble for a few seconds and then explode.

The trick is to wait until the bot dies to take the resurrection.
If you take the resurrection before the bot dies, run away as far an as fast as you can, or the explosion will kill you.

1. It can proc multicraft when crafting (provided you have multi craft stats on your profession tools, of course). Just now made 1 craft that should produce 2, got 4 instead. Am not sure if worth gearing for multicraft instead of inspiration, due to point #3 below.

2. Apart from emergency group wipe, so far I've been able to use it as a hard rez for dead healers in a group with no hard rezzes. Was also good for me stealthing back as a rogue through mobs we had shrouded, to rez the group.

3. IMPORTANT: QUALITY MATTERS.

There is a cast time, and it is dependent on quality. The cast time will, of course, will affect how effective it is as an emergency group hard rez when about to wipe.

Gold quality cast time: 2 seconds
Silver quality cast time: 5 seconds (terrible when your group is dead and the boss is about to kill you)
Bronze quality cast time: I don't know. Probably around 7.5 or 10s.

If you have a mix of gold and silver [item=198277]s, I would say use the gold for the emergency about-to-wipe fast cast, and use the silver for hard rezzing a dead healer or something. Try your [item=114943] first, of course, to save money.

4. Also important: Tell your party to wait for the bot to explode before accepting the mass rez. (Or run away really fast after accepting? It explodes 8s after it casts rez.)
