Whiskers the Rat

My Ice Mammoth always seems to be running away from this little guy.

Whiskers the Rat is one of four vanity pet rewards for completing a quest chain during Children's Week. The other three pets being Mr. Wiggles, Speedy and Scooter the Snail. It will take 4 years to collect all 4. One of Whiskers' idle animations are him flipping over and playing dead. He also wanders, sniffs, and grooms his face.

I was swimming around with whiskers out. Today I had my sound a bit louder than usual and I hear this squeaking mouse sound. Then I realize I had Whiskers out (I usually use Livestock, so it randomly puts out my favorite pets). I tested this out on land and I still heard it. Switched to another pet and the cute little squeaking was gone. That's a pretty nifty touch!

Edit: When I pulled him back out after a while he stopped squeaking. I entered the water again and started up combat and he started squeaking again, and is doing it on land again also. I don't know if there is a trick to this or not. It is easiest to hear him though when you kinda run back and fourth in one spot so you are right on top of him as he runs (He only seems to squeak when he runs).
