The Turf portion of this also drops from the Coastal Spikeback crabs, near the Deepwater Spikeback crabs. However, they are easier to get to if you don't have some way to breathe underwater. There are 5 to 7 of them (I didn't bother to count), 5 on the shore and 2 in the water, but not in swimming depth. The respawn rate can take a while, but their spacing is closer than the deepwater crabs. I got the recipe drop on the first kill of the second group of respawns, as in first kill group, first respawn group, second respawn group.
the coastal spikebacks drop it too, same zone just a bit north around the beach
