The Maiden of Valor refracts the shadowy beam to all players if she stands within it, inflicting 279.878 Shadow damage to all players every 2 sec.

If a player stands between the pylon and the Fallen Avatar the beam is redirected to them. Standing within the beam inflicts 39.1829 Shadow damage every 1.5 sec.

In addition, the target is afflicted with Tainted Essence. This effect intensifies every 2 sec while standing within the beam.

How it works

  1. Effect 1 is Apply Aura (effect type 6). It applies aura type 23. It ticks every 0.1 sec, 490 times over the full 49 sec. It triggers Binding Beam.

What it does

Tainted Matrix is a Shadow spell with an 8 sec cast, no range (it targets the caster) and effects that last 49 sec. When cast it applies an aura every 0.1 sec. It also casts Binding Beam.
