Hope they make it a miniature model of the Frostsaber Companions at the back of Darnassus.
Interesting note - While the screenshots from 2011 show the old cat model with a new (And somewhat... terrifying with the UV layout) skin, the model viewer shows the new kitten/cub model - With the same skin. Seems like the skin was made, applied to the wrong model for some time, and eventually corrected. Even though the pet itself has yet to see the light of day.
