This is a complete head-to-toe outfit - it fills 8 armor slots, so it can be worn as a full look with nothing borrowed from another set. 5 of 8 pieces are Bind on Pickup.

Ensemble: Battlegear of Valor is a single item whose use effect learns all of Battlegear of Valor at once. It is Bind on Pickup.

8 pieces of this appearance set also belong to the item set Battlegear of Valor, which carries these bonuses in the game files:

• 2 pieces: +200 Armor.
• 4 pieces: Increases Strength by 20.
• 6 pieces: Chance on melee attack to heal you for 110.
• 8 pieces: Reduces magical damage taken by 5%.

8 pieces of this set are also listed in other appearance sets in the game data:

• Breastplate of Valor is also a piece of Battlegear of Valor.
• Helm of Valor is also a piece of Battlegear of Valor.
• Legplates of Valor is also a piece of Battlegear of Valor.
• Spaulders of Valor is also a piece of Battlegear of Valor.

• Gauntlets of Valor is also a piece of Battlegear of Valor.

8 pieces share their appearance with items outside this set, each with its own collection source:

• Breastplate of Valor uses the same appearance as Polished Breastplate of Valor, Replica Breastplate of Valor, Replica Breastplate of Valor (vendor), Gleaming Breastplate of Valor and 1 other item.
• Helm of Valor uses the same appearance as Polished Helm of Valor, Replica Helm of Valor, Replica Helm of Valor (vendor) and Polished Helm of Valor (vendor).
• Legplates of Valor uses the same appearance as Polished Legplates of Valor, Replica Legplates of Valor, Replica Legplates of Valor (vendor) and Polished Legplates of Valor (vendor).

• Gauntlets of Valor uses the same appearance as Replica Gauntlets of Valor and Replica Gauntlets of Valor (vendor).

1 other set reuses the 3D models of Battlegear of Valor’s head and shoulder, most shared models first:

• Battlegear of Heroism (Classic, 30 pieces): the same head and shoulder models, recoloured.

Matched in the game files: each piece’s ItemDisplayInfo names its 3D model and texture. The same model with another texture is a recolour. Only pieces with a 3D model of their own (helms, shoulders, cloaks, weapons, shields, off-hands and some belts and robes) can be compared this way; pieces drawn from textures alone are left out.

3 pieces of Battlegear of Valor can be listed on the Auction House (they do not bind on pickup); 3 have a listing on US connected realms in our latest scan.

Lowest listed price on any US connected realm in our recorded Auction House scan, per piece; transmog gear is priced per realm, so the realm named is where that price was seen.

Sets from the same content batch with the same class restriction.
