Source is the collection journal’s own source for each appearance, read from the current retail build; bosses, quests, recipes, prices and requirements come from the game’s item, journal and quest records.

This is a complete head-to-toe outfit - it fills 8 armor slots, so it can be worn as a full look with nothing borrowed from another set. 22 of 30 pieces are Bind on Pickup.

8 pieces of Battlegear of Heroism are sold by vendors. The game's own collection data lists 1 place where they are sold.

• Darkmoon Island

vendor in Darkmoon Island

The pin is the vendor position the game data records in Darkmoon Island.

8 pieces of this appearance set also belong to the item set Battlegear of Heroism, which carries these bonuses in the game files:

• 2 pieces: Reduces magical damage taken by 5%.
• 4 pieces: Chance on melee attack to heal you for 110.
• 6 pieces: Increases Strength by 20.
• 8 pieces: +10 Armor.

8 companion sets shipped in the Darkmoon Faire group alongside it:

• Normal Vestments of the Virtuous - 25 pieces - Priest
• Normal Deathmist Raiment - 23 pieces - Warlock
• Normal Sorcerer's Regalia - 26 pieces - Mage
• Normal Beastmaster Armor - 29 pieces - Hunter
• Normal Darkmantle Armor - 32 pieces - Rogue

1 other set reuses the 3D models of Battlegear of Heroism’s head and shoulder, most shared models first:

• Battlegear of Valor (Classic, 34 pieces): the same head and shoulder models, recoloured.

Matched in the game files: each piece’s ItemDisplayInfo names its 3D model and texture. The same model with another texture is a recolour. Only pieces with a 3D model of their own (helms, shoulders, cloaks, weapons, shields, off-hands and some belts and robes) can be compared this way; pieces drawn from textures alone are left out.

8 pieces of Battlegear of Heroism can be listed on the Auction House (they do not bind on pickup); 8 have a listing on US connected realms in our latest scan.

Lowest listed price on any US connected realm in our recorded Auction House scan, per piece; transmog gear is priced per realm, so the realm named is where that price was seen.

Sets from the same content batch with the same class restriction.
