    What This Set Covers

This is a partial outfit - it fills 6 armor slots, so a full look needs 2 more slots from elsewhere. Every piece is Bind on Pickup, so the appearances have to be earned rather than bought.

    Where to Farm This Set

1 boss in Assault on Violet Hold drop pieces of this set. Each instance below carries its Adventure Guide entry, where its entrance is, and what each boss drops.

    Assault on Violet Hold

In the aftermath of the Northrend campaign and the Blue Dragonflight's attack on this Dalaran prison, the Violet Hold was repaired and its cells were repurposed to house some of the most dangerous servants of the Lich King. Now, as Dalaran floats above the Broken Isles as the flagship of the war against the Legion, a shadowy threat once again seeks to strike at Kirin Tor from within.

    The entrance is in Dalaran at 67.9, 70.5 (/way #627 67.9 70.5).

    • Shivermaw drops 1 piece of this set (Waist). Adventure Guide map pin: 67.6, 68.6 on the Violet Hold map. Rumored to be one of Sindragosa's own brood, this fearsome frost wyrm was captured from the Frostwing Halls of Icecrown Citadel, where the forces of the Lich King labored to create these winged abominations.
