    What This Set Covers

This is a complete head-to-toe outfit - it fills 9 armor slots, so it can be worn as a full look with nothing borrowed from another set. Every piece is Bind on Pickup, so the appearances have to be earned rather than bought.

    The Ensemble

Ensemble: Dread Gladiator's Plate Armor is a single item whose use effect learns all of Dread Gladiator's Plate at once. It is Bind on Pickup. Using it requires level 50.

    Versions and Companion Sets

The game links 2 other versions to Dread Gladiator's Plate, each labelled the way the collection journal labels it. This page is the Gladiator version.

16 companion sets shipped in the Battle Season 1 and Arathi Warfront group alongside it:

    Shared Pieces and Appearances

10 pieces share their appearance with items outside this set, each with its own collection source:

    Look-Alike Sets

1 other set reuses the 3D models of Dread Gladiator's Plate’s head, shoulder and waist, most shared models first:

    • Jingoist's War Armor (Dragonflight, 10 pieces): the same head, shoulder and waist models, recoloured.

Matched in the game files: each piece’s ItemDisplayInfo names its 3D model and texture. The same model with another texture is a recolour. Only pieces with a 3D model of their own (helms, shoulders, cloaks, weapons, shields, off-hands and some belts and robes) can be compared this way; pieces drawn from textures alone are left out.

    Other Versions of This Set

The game data carries 4 separate set records under the name Dread Gladiator's Plate - one per class or armor weight, plus the per-slot recolours the appearance was built from. This page is the one we index for the name; the others are listed here so nothing is lost.
