Where to Farm This Set
9 bosses in Den of Nalorakk, Magisters' Terrace and Maisara Caverns drop pieces of this set. Each instance below carries its Adventure Guide entry, where its entrance is, and what each boss drops.
Wounded by Zul'jin and Malacrass, Nalorakk turned his back on the Amani, slumbering in his den to ease his pain. Now, the Amani seek to heal the rift between their tribe and the loa. But, to gain Nalorakk's favor, those who come before him must complete his trials. Assist Zul'jarra as she journeys into the mind of the Loa of War to defeat him and gain his blessing.
The Hoardmonger drops 1 piece of this set (Feet). Adventure Guide map pin: 45.6, 68.6 on the Den of Nalorakk map. Driven by voracious greed, the gluttonous Hoardmonger fiercely defends the stashes of food and supplies he has stolen from nearby troll tribes. Nalorakk's first trial is to eliminate him before the tribes go hungry.
Sentinel of Winter drops 2 pieces of this set (Hands, Waist). Adventure Guide map pin: 42.9, 23.7 on the Den of Nalorakk map. The seasons can be kind or cruel. Sentinel of Winter unleashes the harshest of winter storms to test all who face him. To surpass Nalorakk's second trial, endure the biting cold and defeat the embodiment of a winter storm.
Nalorakk drops 1 piece of this set (Head). Adventure Guide map pin: 47.4, 21.1 on the Den of Nalorakk map. Slumbering in his fitful and battle-filled dream, Nalorakk, the Loa of War, will only test the mettle of the worthy. Survive his trial and receive his blessing or die trying.
Magisters' Terrace is the heart of arcane study for the sin'dorei, including Magister Umbric, long ago. Within its halls lies the Cynosure of Twilight, the key to unlocking the way into the Voidstorm.
Arcanotron Custos drops 1 piece of this set (Legs). Adventure Guide map pin: 52.9, 48.4 on the Magisters' Terrace map. This highly advanced arcane construct has been charged with keeping the peace and ensuring that all Magisters adhere to rules and restrictions. Veering from said rules will not be tolerated.
Seranel Sunlash drops 1 piece of this set (Waist). Adventure Guide map pin: 55.9, 33.4 on the Magister's Terrace map. An accomplished Spellbreaker, Serenel Sunlash has earned the full trust of the Magisters. Charged with the protection of the Cynosure of Twilight, Seranel will fulfill those duties with his very life if necessary.
Gemellus drops 1 piece of this set (Chest). Adventure Guide map pin: 46.0, 65.8 on the Magisters' Terrace map. An otherworldly spawn of Void origins, Gemellus seems to utilize the Void not only for its own protection, but to propigate and foster the development of its species as well.
Degentrius drops 1 piece of this set (Head). Adventure Guide map pin: 50.2, 50.5 on the Magister's Terrace map. A powerful creature of the Void, Degentrius has taken advantage of the opportunity inadvertently provided by Magister Umbric and launched an assault on the Terrace.
Beneath the sacred Maisara Hills, Vilebranch trolls sacrifice Witherbark captives to power their necromancy. Their rituals twist stolen souls into fuel for Rak'tul, a monstrous dire troll bound in the depths. If the cavern's magic is left to fester, Zul'Aman will face a terror it cannot contain.
Vordaza drops 1 piece of this set (Legs). Adventure Guide map pin: 77.7, 59.1 on the Maisara Caverns map. Vordaza, the Vilebranch's master of souls, performs forbidden rites to extract the soul essences of the dead. She distills the suffering of her victims into raw necrotic energy to empower Rak'tul, her monstrous creation. Her vile magic and her monster must be stopped.
Rak'tul, Vessel of Souls drops 1 piece of this set (Chest). Adventure Guide map pin: 77.7, 10.1 on the Maisara Caverns map. An undead thrall bound to Vordaza, Rak'tul is grotesquely bloated with the essences of tormented souls and necrotic power. Drunk on his newfound power and driven mad by the souls' endless suffering, Rak'tul stands ready to break Zul'Aman beneath the crushing weight of his fists.
Versions and Companion Sets
The game links 3 other versions to Rootward Regalia, each labelled the way the collection journal labels it. This page is the Dungeons version.
1 other set reuses the 3D models of Rootward Regalia’s head, shoulder, waist, legs, feet and hands, most shared models first:
Galactic Aspirant's Chain Armor (Midnight, 17 pieces): the same head, shoulder, waist, legs, feet and hands models, recoloured.
Matched in the game files: each piece’s ItemDisplayInfo names its 3D model and texture. The same model with another texture is a recolour. Only pieces with a 3D model of their own (helms, shoulders, cloaks, weapons, shields, off-hands and some belts and robes) can be compared this way; pieces drawn from textures alone are left out.
